More than 125 guests enjoyed an evening dedicated to outstanding American art and architecture at the Hunts Point, WA home of Barney and Rebecca Ebsworth on November 11, 2017.
This Seattle Art Museum Supporters fundraising event showcased the Ebsworths’ world-renowned collection of modern American art by Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keeffe, Jackson Pollock and more. This was a rare opportunity to experience these works in the stunning home designed by Jim Olson of Olson Kundig.
Connoisseur level guests arrived at 5:30 pm for an intimate tour of the art and home with Barney Ebsworth.
Patron level guests joined the party at 6:30 pm, where all enjoyed a hosted bar and Mancas delicious catering. A short presentation featured a few words by SAM Board of Trustee Chair Stewart Landefeld, SAMS President Barb Maher, followed by remarks from Olson Kundig architect and partner Kevin Kudo-King and Patti Junker, the Ann M. Barwick Curator of American Art at Seattle Art Museum.
Socializing and fun, captured by the photography talents of Paul Dudley and enhanced by the gorgeous tunes of guitarist Julian Catford, culminated in the highly-anticipated raffle drawing at 9:00 pm. Magdalena Wallhoff Lamprecht won the New York City Theatre Weekend Getaway. Mark Knoll, of Blueprint Capital, won the Seattle Hamilton Stay-cation.
Event co-chairs Tracy Pozil and Tiffany Sharer McGehee created an evening to remember.
