New start time is 5:50 pm.  Be sure to plan for traffic and arrive promptly as the building is locked and not open to the public.  Late arrivals may call Minda Brusse 206-729-3722 to request entry.

**Due to a 3:10 pm Mariners game, please consider taking public transportation.  There is a light rail stop right at Safeco field.  Bemis is a 10 minute walk from there.**

There is a parking garage next door to Bemis with hourly rates. Street parking may be available, but pay attention to posted notices. Parking behind the building is for tenants only.

There is a post-tour dinner at Carmine’s coordinated by Gaylene Vaden. Email her if 1) you would like to join or 2) you previously responded yes, but can no longer attend.  We want to give an accurate count to Carmine's.

The Bemis Building is an historic 150,000 square foot factory building located in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle, near Safeco Field. It is home to painters, photographers, glass artists, filmmakers, sculptors, fashion designers, architects and many others.

As a precursor to the Bemis Spring 2018 Art Show, attendees of this Special Access event will experience a private curated studio hop. We will meet artists Richard Royal, Ethan Stern, Kait Rhoads, Jessica Landau, and David Walters and learn about their unique work styles and approaches to creativity.

Wine and light snacks will be provided.

This Special Access event was originally limited to 40 attendees, but the response has been so great, we added 20 more spots! Registration is $10/person.  SAMS members, friends and guests are welcome.

We will gather at the front entrance of Bemis on South Atlantic Street where we will enter together for the tour.

Thank you to SAMS Special Access Co-chairs Dena Rigby and Heather O'Mahony for arranging this special opportunity.
